Your home computer, wherever you are
awaBerry turns a little computer in your home — a Raspberry Pi or similar board — into something you can reach from anywhere, safely and simply. There is nothing to plug in and no networking to puzzle over: you set the board up once, and from then on it appears in the app ready to open, whether you are on the sofa or on the other side of the world.
This manual walks you through it the way a friend would — one small step at a time. You do not need to be technical, and awaBerry is free for home use.
What you can do with awaBerry
- Set up a board with no screen or cables. Tell awaBerry which board you have and which Wi-Fi it should use; it prepares everything so the board comes online by itself the first time you switch it on.
- Reach your stuff from anywhere. Open your device over an encrypted link — no VPN to configure and nothing opened up to the public internet.
- See the board's screen. Watch and control its desktop live, right from your phone or laptop.
- Move and run things. Forward a service running on the board — a home dashboard, a media server — straight to your own computer.
- Use a terminal that helps. Type commands yourself, or simply describe what you want and let a built-in AI assistant do it for you.
- Keep an eye on it. Check how the board is doing at a glance — how busy it is, how much space is left, what it is running.
Find your way around
awaBerry keeps things tidy with three areas in the left-hand menu. Here is what lives where:
- Remote — the home screen. It lists your devices and is where you open one to do something with it.
- Connect — where you add a new board, either an existing one or a brand new board that sets itself up with no screen attached.
- User — your account: language, security, your data and a little help.
New here? Start with Connect to bring your board online, then head to Remote to open it.

awaBerry is made for the home. If one day you need to reach any kind of device — laptops, servers, work machines — or you want to use it for a business, its bigger sibling Anywhere AI picks up where awaBerry leaves off.
